Date and Chocolate Energy Bites

Try this fantastic energy boosting snack as a healthy alternative to your classic energy bar. Perfect as a dairy-free, post-work snack by promoting instant muscle recovery and giving you a quick energy fix.

Carefully slice one side of the Medjool dates, and lay them out on a plate. Next take a small teaspoon and fill each date with peanut butter. Lastly, take your chocolate bar, and break it up into bite size pieces and place the chocolate in the middle of the peanut butter.

Optional: sprinkle with cinnamon and a small amount of sea salt.

These refrigerate well and are perfect for a quick snack, satisfy your sweet tooth, or after a workout.
