- How is coffee decaffeinated: The Swiss Water® Process (SWP) is a non-solvent method for decaffeinating unroasted coffee beans. Water, time, and temperature, are the only elements used.
- Where are coffee beans sourced from: Directly sourced from farm cooperatives in Central & South America.
- What material is used for the bag film and valve: Polyester infused with an organic compound; when microbes present in landfills or home composts, gardens, etc, react with the organic compound, enzymes are produced which break down the polyester into original elements of water, CO2 and organic biomass.
